glastos history was definitly amazin, and once in a life time momnents, this is the first time i have ever been to glastonbury and i never saw the 70s, but all i know is that the only people that went back then were drunk kids, but who could fault them........ they were having a good time!!!!!!!
Glatonbury has been around for over 36 years!!!!!!
the first festival was in 1978 and it was free, about 500 people went!!!
the next year in 1979 entry cost £5 and over 12,000 people went and that was the first time it was ever a 3 day event.
